Komatsu PC490 Excavator
A Komatsu PC490 Excavator is a large, heavy-duty piece of construction equipment that is commonly used in a variety of industrial and commercial applications. This powerful machine is designed to dig, excavate, and move large amounts of dirt, rock, and other materials with ease.
One of the key features of the Komatsu PC490 Excavator is its digging capabilities. The excavator is equipped with a large bucket that can be used to dig and move large amounts of soil and other materials. The bucket is attached to the end of a long arm, which is controlled by the operator from the cab of the machine. This allows the operator to easily maneuver the bucket into tight spaces and position it exactly where it needs to be to complete the job.
In addition to digging, the Komatsu PC490 Excavator is also equipped with a variety of other tools and attachments that can be used to perform a wide range of tasks. For example, the excavator can be fitted with a breaker attachment, which can be used to break up concrete and other hard materials. The excavator can also be fitted with a grapple attachment, which is useful for picking up and moving large, heavy objects.
The Komatsu PC490 Excavator is also highly maneuverable and easy to operate. The machine is equipped with a variety of controls and gauges that allow the operator to easily navigate and control the excavator. The cab of the machine is also designed to be comfortable and ergonomic, providing the operator with a clear view of the work area and easy access to the controls.

Hydraulic Breaker Hammer
HAWK’s hydraulic breaker hammer is essential in mining, demolitions, excavations, and quarries as it chips away large boulders and concrete structures. Most contractors prefer using the hydraulic hammer breaker because of its high performance, and it is also why it is present on most construction sites. The brand’s hydraulic hammer rock breaker reduces manual work, relatively saves energy, and stands to its efficient but straightforward working principle.
General Digging Bucket
HAWK digger bucket excavator is made for light-duty operations like loading, excavation, and earthmoving gravel, loose rock, sand, and earth. This skid steer digging bucket is also ideal for the large-capacity workload like deep earth digging. The advanced digging bucket adapter and high-strength steel can help you save operation time, thereby improving work efficiency.
Non-Rotating Clamshell Bucket
HAWK’s excavator clamshell bucket is best for dredging and material re-handling. This clamshell bucket is available in three different versions: heavy-duty, standard, and light. Regardless of the versions, these equipment pieces feature a 360-degree sealed rotation. There are also units meant for environmental applications.

Mechanical Grapple
HAWK’s mechanical grapple is an excellent alternative to excavator buckets, converting the latter into machines fit for demolition site cleanups, sorting trash, and handling loose materials. HAWK offers different sizes and models to match any kind of excavator tasks you have on-site.
KOMATSU PC490 EXCAVATOR FEATURES AT A GLANCE
Large displacement high efficiency pump
Large displacement hydraulic implement pumps provide high flow output at lower engine RPM, operation at the most efficient engine speed.
Closed-center load-sensing hydraulic system
Smooth operation, quick cycle times, great multi-function, while lowering fuel consumption from closed-center load-sensing hydraulic system.
Komatsu PC210 Excavator is Built for strength
Equipment designed for long-term durability with high resistance to bending and torsional stress. Booms and arms are constructed with thick plates of high tensile strength streel and designed with large cross-sectional areas.
Cleaner emissions
A heavy-duty aftertreatment system that combines a Komatsu Diesel Particulate Filter (KDPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR). The system injects the correct amount of diesel exhaust fluid at the proper rate, decomposing nitrogen oxide.
Easy access
Engine oil check and filter locations integrated into one side to allow easier maintenance access.
Advanced ergonomic design
Wide spacious cab includes a heated air suspension seat with reclining backrest. Seat height and position are easily adjusted using a pull-up lever. Armrest position easily adjusted with the console.
Information at your fingertips
Updated, large, high-resolution LCD color monitor to ease accurate and smooth work. Key machine information displayed in user-friendly interface, rearview camera and DEF level gauge display added to default main screen.
Rollover protection
A ROPS cab that conforms to ISO 12117-2 comes as standard equipment. It also satisfies requirements for level 1 operator protective guard (OPG) and top guard (ISO 10262).
Multi-operator productivity
An operator identification ID can be set up for each operator and used to manage operation information of individual machines using Komtrax data. Data can analyze operation status by operator and by machine.
Reduce fuel consumption
Auto idle shutdown automatically shuts the engine down after idling for a set period to reduce unnecessary fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. Time before engine is shutdown can be programmed from 5 to 60 minutes.
Designed for durability
Large heavy-duty revolving frame guards and swivel guard help protect vital components from damage and debris build-up.
Ease of maintenance and serviceability
Provide a convenient and more secure work area in front of the engine. A new step provides easier access for filling the AdBlue/DEF tank.
